Special Care Center

At Baptist Homes, we provide directed care for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia. Our 41-bed Special Care Center is a secure unit located on the third floor of our Nursing Center.

In addition to quality nursing care, our staff is trained to provide the social and therapeutic group programs which enhance life for individuals in the middle stage of Alzheimer's Disease. We are also dedicated to providing the one-on-one interactions so critical to those with more advanced Alzheimer's Disease or dementia. Baptist Homes has taken great strides, through research, renovation and staff training, to create a homelike environment and specialized programming that encourages our residents to remain as independent and functional as possible.

Residents of our Special Care Center receive all of the services provided in our Nursing Center. We also offer a full range of rehabilitative therapies in order to bring about and maintain the highest degree of independence and functioning possible for residents.
