Rehabilitation Therapies Physical, Occupational, and Speech
We offer a full range of rehabilitative therapies in order to bring about and maintain the highest degree of independence and functioning possible for the resident. Therapy services are available to all residents in our continuum of care. The professional rehabilitation team of Alliance Rehab offers physical, occupational and speech therapies in our well-equipped therapy department, in the Wellness Center, or in the resident's room. Our Medical Director for Rehabilitation Services is a physiatrist who coordinates and oversees therapies for all residents requiring rehabilitation. Our
rehabilitative services are available for your short-term or long-term
rehabilitation needs.
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists provide evaluation, treatment, and ongoing reassessment to improve mobility, decrease pain, and improve strength and endurance due to a wide variety of diagnoses. The physical therapist offers specialized treatment to assist residents in regaining their prior level of functioning for maximum independence at home or in the long term care setting.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists provide services to individuals of all ages who have physical, developmental, emotional and social deficits. Occupational Therapy offers specialized assistance in learning skills that enable residents to lead more independent, productive and satisfying lives.
Speech Therapy
Speech language pathologists provide ongoing treatment in a program that includes screening, evaluation and therapy for language, voice, articulation and fluency disorders. The speech therapist specializes in addressing dysphagia (swallowing disorders), which is a critical component of overall therapeutic treatment.
