Retirement Community
Q: What is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)?
A: A continuing care retirement community is a campus community which contains all of the various levels of care: independent living, personal care/assisted living, nursing care and rehabilitation. In a CCRC a member of the retirement community is able to move back and forth among the various levels of care, according to need. Residents with a CCRC contract are guaranteed services throughout the continuum. Baptist Homes Society is licensed as a CCRC in the state of Pennsylvania. The Baptist Homes campus in Mt. Lebanon accepts residents on both a fee-for-service and CCRC contract basis.
