Associate Degree and Current PA PCH license. Must have long term care or assisted living/personal care management experience for a minimum of 5 years.
Ability to provide outstanding leadership for a mission driven faith based not-for-profit organization offering assisted living housing, hospitality and health services to senior adults. Administrator must demonstrate a commitment to high ethical and moral standards.
Logical thinking and analytical skills. Highly organized. Ability to solve practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must possess a strong intuitive grasp of complex situations, the ability to balance strategy and day-to-day operational details.
Ability to read analyze, and interpret and create as needed general business correspondence and periodicals, financial reports and statements, technical procedures, operational strategic plans, or governmental regulations. Ability to communicate effectively including report writing, daily business correspondence, publish internal policy and procedure manuals. Customer oriented (internal and external) with exceptional interpersonal, oral communication, and leadership skills. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from residents, families, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from residents, families, employees, management team, and the Board of Directors. Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or Boards of Directors. Ability to utilize communication tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to utilize productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel.
Job Summary : Fulfills functions of operational manager and must be the licensed personal care administrator for the community. The personal care Administrator is directly responsible for the daily operations and care of the personal care and memory support Communities.
Performance Expectations: The incumbent must demonstrate proficiency in the essential functions of this position as outlined in the job description. As applicable, the incumbent must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the residents served in his/her assigned area.
